Reading for Games

In coordination with the Camas Library, Gamer League, a youth esports league, is organizing an event named “Reading for Games”. Gamers, under the age of 13, can earn rewards for reading and sharing what they’ve learned. For each book read, the gamer will earn $5 dollars per book with a maximum of $15 dollars in prizes.

Share Night: Nov 19th, 6:00 – 8:00
Registration Limit: 20 gamers.

Share Night

On Share Night (Nov 19th), Gamers will stand near posters and share what they read with other gamers and parents. Share night will also include a social gaming hour where gamers can play games together. The poster should include the following for each book read:

  • Short summary of the book (140 characters or less)
  • Favorite part of the book
  • Three most interesting concepts or idea
